King Lane will close between Millstream Lane and Taunton Road on August 24, 2020 for approximately six weeks for sidewalk and culvert work. 

Detours available via alternate local roads.

Due to inclement weather the following fields will be closed Monday, August 17, 2020:

  • Longworth Park softball diamond
  • Penfound Park softball diamond
  • Bowmanville Memorial both north and south softball diamonds
  • Clarington Fields all fields closed
  • Highland Park

Clarington to receive $2.1 million in COVID-19 relief funding from Ontario Government

Clarington August 12, 2020/- The Municipality of Clarington will receive $2.1 million in COVID-19 relief funding from the Provincial Government, as announced by Ontario Premier, Doug Ford Wednesday afternoon.

The one-time assistance comes from $4 billion that was earmarked for Ontario municipalities as part of the federal-provincial Safe Restart Agreement. Ontario municipalities will receive up to $1.6 billion from the first round of emergency funding to ensure critical public services are delivered...

  • Orono Park Diamond
  • Garnet B. Rickard Complex – east diamond
